My name is Zekey and I’m a big Norwich City fan and football shirt collector! I’ve had a season ticket at Norwich for 17 years and witnessed a lot of highs and a lot of lows but I wouldn’t change it for the world.
My favourite current Norwich player is Gabriel Sara, but previously it was Teemu Pukki, Emi Buendia and Wes Hoolahan, with Hoolahan being my all-time favourite Norwich player. Looking away from Norwich, Lionel Messi is of course my favourite player. It’s not a coincidence that Hoolahan and Buendia are very similar to Messi in playing style. When it comes to why I love football, they sum it up quite nicely.
I chose this shirt to display because it holds lots of amazing memories for me. I was lucky enough to get given tickets to two Norwich games by Max Aarons and a match worn shirt from him too (long story). Aarons invited me into the players’ lounge as well and I brought this shirt with me just in case I could get Pukki to sign it. He did just that, and I got a photo with him too. He has now left after 5 years, which makes this shirt even more special. He has been key to our success in recent years and I doubt we will find anyone like him for a long time.
